The following Fishes may be found in the Don, and other streams of our locality.

Ruffe,                                                        Perca Cernua.

Bull-head,                                                  Cottus gobio.

Carp,                                                         Cyprinus Carpio.

Barbel,                                                       Cyprinus Barbus.

Gudgeon,                                                  Cyprinus gobio.

Tench,                                                       Cyprinus tinca.

Bream,                                                      Cyprinue brama.

Roach,                                                       Cyprinus rutilus.

Dace,                                                         Cyprinus Leuciscus.

Chub,                                                         Cyprinus Cephalus.

Bleak,                                                        Cyprinus Alburnus.

Minnow,                                                     Cyprinus Phoxinus.

Loach,                                                       Cobitis barbatula.

Pike,                                                          Esox lucius.
